Excellent - thanks for the tip Madness, I now have OIS9. Claus Ambos is really an authority on cultic stuff in Mesopotamia, always nice to find the occasion when he writes in English.

Madness: Thanks very much for your diligence and instinct for material - this piece of work by Lisman is amazing! I am skimming through the title pages and chapters it has all appearances of a masterwork, a dependable resource for the study of the earliest magico-religious world view attested in anciennt Mesopotamia. Not to mention great textual editions in the appendixes and relevant information from the earliest god lists. I'm sure this work will surface again and again at enenuru
