Mr. Ford finally send me a message. He wrote: " Hi!!!!
You are from my favorite forum, the Sumerian one? I wanted to thank you guys as a whole as I had not posted there. I have not been there for a bit of time however plan to be back soon. Thanks a lot!!!!"

I refer to how many exclamation marks this ...this... <person>.... uses to illustrate my opinion on his sanity and state of mind.
You actually spent time writing him? Wow. May we know more?

Speaking of Lamaštu, there's a good article by W. Fauth, "Ištar als Löwengöttin und die löwenköpfige Lamaštu" in WdO XII.

Or, maybe Asakku is Mr. Ford in disguise?!

I wrote him because i wanted to know whats up with that book and the board. He is mention the board, but doesn't have any little effort to share (with the board) that he wrote a book with knowledge the users gave him here? That is not very noble, so i just tryied to make him advertent.

Maybe it's just me, but I would never look for nobility in Mr. Ford.

I suppose this story has held some curiousity for me as the book is the first to mention enenuru. On the other hand, and despite the written indicator, it's author feels no true obligation to this place I'm sure. What's interesting at this point is what we do now with this topic - enenuru has a history of learning from false information, that is, of correcting false information by reexamining things and establishing genuine facts. That little thread which now holds Wiggermann's ideas about Tiamat may be just be the start of this process and I have no idea what other gems might be added as the years go by. That's why I love this forum enenuru.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=expel&action=display&thread=383

Wiggermann = deified, in my personal world.

LOL, heh heh heh...
It's pretty easy to establish Mike's credibility - he doesn't have any - he's a cobbler at best, not a scholar. BUt I guess if you don't have access to scholars or a place like Enenuru you're bound to get sucked in by his easy-to-get 'shiteguides'.
But - since this thread is here - does anyone know of any Reputable Mesopotamian Occultists? I know... reputable and occultist don't exactly go together - but just on the offchance?

Are you talking about self-defined occultists, or are scholars with an occult twist to themselves also okay?
Naomi, I'd add to the running list of Ford's problems the following:
# uses cuneiform without knowing what it means, just to 'pretty up' and 'occultify' his ghastly 'art'. # thinks he is a vampire (.....*sighs and rolls eyes*....) # does not reply if faced with someone academically asking him about his sources and ideas, possibly out of knowledge that he can't distinguish between Sumerian, Akkadian or Ugaritic (funny thing, the other blatantly retarded and unscientific guy, Sitchin, also is unable to do that... *ponders*)

nznznzn I don't know if this is important, but Thomas Karlsson has an Bachelor in Theology and he writes books about magic (but focused on qliphot jewish tradition), he also mention Lilith and how to work with her in connection with the jewish tradition - if you are interrested in. nininimzuetotally sign. All points are really veridic what you say.
