Okay, I've got a little issue here. I've been seeing in a few texts Elamite deities popping up here and there. I know too little about them, and want to know more. There's nothing at the local library, and so far, the only thing I could find on Elamite religion specifically is this:
books.google.com/books?id=pr8-i1iFnIQC&pg=PA74&dq=Elamite+gods&lr=&as_brr=3&cd=12#v=onepage&q=Elamite%20gods&f=false
(unfortunately, due to a limited amount of access to sources, I've got to use google books alot, which leads to alot of problems, such as outdated sources, though luckily this book (Gods, demons, and symbols of ancient Mesopotamia) isn't one of them.
Also:
books.google.com/books?id=mc4cfzkRVj4C&printsec=frontcover&dq=The+Archaeology+of+Elam&lr=&as_brr=3&cd=1#v=onepage&q=&f=false
(still digging through this book preview)
If anyone has any info on the specific texts where Elamite deities are discussed, or anything else relavant to them, I'm trying to find more info. I want to make sure my sources I found are accurate/uptodate, and answer questions on who others are. (see below for the deities specifically)
The Elamite deities I see popping up appeared in brief in:
The Shurpu Series
books.google.com/books?id=D75iAAAAMAAJ&pg=PA386&dq=Yabru&lr=&as_brr=3&cd=4#v=onepage&q=Yabru&f=false
(I'm aware that it's not a good source, but it's what I have at the moment)
And a few other texts that I can't remember off hand. Though I wrote down a list of the deities and began my research. Many of the deities though seem to be sumerian versions of the Elamite dieties. (namely, Inshushinak, Lord of Susa and Ninshushinak, Queen of Susa).
Here is a quicklist of the Elamite deities I'm researching so far. I'm trying to find what I can:
Inshushinak
Ninshushinak
Lahuramit
Yabru
Humban
Pinikir
Narudi/Narudu
Hutran
Kiririsha
Napirisha
Lagamal
Ishmekarab
Nahhunte
Ruherater
And others, though right now, other than the Gods, demons and symbols book, I've gotta recheck to look for the rest and the texts. Right now, I've gotta get somewhere and don't have the time. I had a list, and don't know where it went.
So for now I just picked names out of the book.
