Is anyone aware of any Mesopatamian Statues, Figurines, or Idols(Of good material) on sale or available on the market? Or perhaps a Custom Sculptor but that might be too expensive.
There's many religions and spiritual practices that bind the energy of their deities into a crafted idol, it serves as a focal point for veneration, and to better anchor the energy of the deity into the physical plane for it to give beneficial effects in many aspects of the devotees life.
Anything for Ishtar, Marduk, Tiamat, Sin, etc.

Hello enkidu7: That's a good question. There really isn't any market out there for this sort of thing, so Mesopotamian themed merchandise is rarely produced, and I don't think many icons of the gods have been produced for sale. Of course, even in Mesopotamian art, the gods are generally fairly indistinct except for their horned crowns and they are difficult to tell apart from another with the exception of minor features. In any case, one option is to look at what is available at museum gift shops - some like the Oriental Institute in Chicago have online purchasing options. What the OI has for sale at the moment seems fairly meager, but this stuff really is rarely sold anywhere else: oi.uchicago.edu/visit/museum-shop-suq Also you can go on e-bay for a better selection.. but you have it all there a) real replica items (that is, items which are plastic etc. versions of actual Mesopotamian antiquities b) complete crap (stuff that is called Mesopotamian in theme but isn't and c) actual Mesopotamian antiquities (which tend to be extremely pricey, and also, which are likely being sold illegally on some level - also people sympathetic to Iraqi antiquities often consider the sale of such items on ebay to be immoral). That's what I can think of at the moment anyway.

I got a replica of the Burney Relief, and it's an almost exact replica. But I can't recall where I bought it or who sold it. Sorry. I can't even find the store I used to know that sold some really cool Babylonian reliefs. If I find it I'll get back to you.

Yep its definitely an issue. Store don't carry things just to be respectable to history nerds, usually.
