Hey enenuru - Today I am posting some initial results of an Akkadian dialect study I have undertaken. As a student, it becomes more and more difficult to track the variation in form from one dialect to another, especially when you are tasked with learning 8 dialects: Old Akkadian, Old Babylonian, Old Assyrian, Middle Babylonian, Middle Assyrian, Standard Babylonian, Neo-Babylonian, Neo-Assyrian. Because I have not yet found a resource or grammar which gives paradigms of these 8 dialects side by side, I am undertaking to make such a resource myself (by consulting numerous works and charting the information).
