Ah, excellent find Sheshki. I have been in contact with the author, Renate Marian van Dijk-Coombes, for some time via academia.edu. It was through this correspondence that I learned about the university in Stellenbosch, which is in South Africa, and that they have some ancient studies there including some students who have been interested in Mesopotamia. In any case, yes Prof. van Dijk-Coombes has focused on standards in Mesopotamia since at least 2012 (when I first corresponded with her) and so I would be quite intrigued to see her recently published book on the subject entitled "The Standards of Mesopotamia in the Third and Fourth Millennia BCE: An Iconographic Study." For those unable to access her book, her very informative dissertation from 2016 is freely accessible online and most likely has similar content to the book form: core.ac.uk/download/pdf/188224884.pdf

Some 15 years ago, at the top of this thread, we discussed the Adab standard as Standard IV of type one archaic Sumerian standards. For an updated discussion of the Adab standard, the reader may now see the latest post on the Adab thread.
