It took some time to get into Twitter, but now I'm used to it and really like it. I'd like to find more people to follow & hear how you enenurians use it. I guess at least somebody uses it?
Twitter is a nice way to keep up with news related to Mesopotamia and ANE in general. And when you go and see people who follow other interesting people and so on you'll always find something fascinating/interesting/new information to you It also show everything the people you follow post - which Facebook hasn't done for a long time. At least if you have time to read everything they post!
One minus side is that people often link to sources which aren't very reliable and are like "look what an interesting piece of news" even though that piece would be age-old. Many people still post "They found a new tablet of Gilgamesh" even though it was in 2015 fall or something like that. But anyway, I like Twitter.
Some of the most interesting - and active - organisations I have found this far are:
The American Schools of Oriental Research (ASOR)
Chicago Oriental Institute
Louvre
British Museum
Seshat: Global History Databank
Project Agade (bot-like, very annoying to follow but interesting links anyway)
CANTZ project
Ancient History Encyclopedia
Cuneiform Digital Library Initiative
(of course many of those have posts not relevant to assyriology, too)
And I myself I'm mostly tweeting with my friends on account Cooleiform
I follow also many inviduals, but I'm too lazy to list them right now...
